Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead [Netflix]

Since last year I have a subscription on Netflix.
When I saw the lists with documentaries, movies and series I don’t where I start watching.
But since I started with a couple of movies and series I was ready to see (almost) everything that Netflix offers.
So if you have a subscription on Netflix and you don’t know where to start I will help you.

This was one of the first documentaries that I have seen on Netflix.
It’s an documentary which follows the 60-day journey of Australian Joe Cross across the United States as he follows a juice fast to regain his health under the care of Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Nutrition Research Foundation’s Director of Research.
During his road-trip Cross meets Phil Staples, a morbidly obese truck driver from Sheldon, Iowa, in a truck stop in Arizona and inspires him to try juice fasting.

What I really like about this documentary is that it shows how you can live healthy.
And even if you are older, because it don’t mean that you have a high blood pressure if you are older.
But it don’t mean that I want to live the way he life.
It inspires me to life in a healthy way but I do in a more balanced way.
Do your exercise and eat fruit and vegetables and I think that must be enough to be healthy.

But I can understand that he lived a too luxurious life and don’t balanced everything.
And that he want to change the way he live.
What are your thoughts about the whole healthy subject?
