My Music Week: Sia, Natasha Bedingfield and Meghan Trainor
Sia is probably the most talked about artist of this week.
If you read all the comments on twitter and on other websites everybody has a opinion about the new music video she released.
It’s about the single Elastic Heart from 1000 forms of fear.
You can know the single because it was already released back in 2013.
It was one of the songs from the soundtrack of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
But where everybody talked about isn’t that she released an old single.
No it’s about the music video.
You see the little girl from the Chandelier music video dance with Shia Labeouf.
Some people think that it’s a form of pedophilia.
I’ve been watch this music video for a couple of times but I never thought about pedophilia.
It’s just a beautiful choreography with two people with great music.
Sia made her excuses on Twitter that it wasn’t the attention to offend anyone.
So what is your opinion about the music video?
Natasha Bedingfield is one of the artist where I listen to in my youth.
But after a couple of releases she almost disappeared from the music industry.
After a couple of single releases she is back with another single.
This time she worked with a charity called Philosophy.
The charity is for people with that have problems with their mental health.
About the single, it’s a very good song with a positive feeling.
You can buy this single from January 13 on iTunes and 20% of the net proceeds from the iTunes sales will benefit philosophy’s Hope and Grace Initiative.
So 80% will be earned by Natasha Bedingfield so she can continue working on new music.
I hope that she will release new music very soon.
Meghan Trainor released the Deluxe Edition from her debut album Title.
And I must say I fell in love with the whole album.
But I have my favorites of course.
My favorite songs from the album are:
All About the Bass, Close Your Eyes, Like I’m Gonna lose You, Bang Dem Sticks, Walkashame, Title, Lips are Moving and Mr. Almost.
